I'm very excited to share that a fun new musical I wrote with Danny K Bernstein, "ON YOUR MARK!" will make it's (and my!) Off-Broadway debut on Jan. 18th, 2016!! It was selected by Theatre Now New York and will be competing in the SoundBites Festival.

I'm very honoured to received my first high profile nomination for Best Score! The APRA awards are the most prestigious awards in Australian Film & TV Music, and to be nominated alongside familiar names of my musical heroes and mentors who are nominated as well. 

A Mighty Nice Man was one of eight films nominated for the 2015 BAFTA Best Student Film Award. The winner will be announced at an event held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on June 25th, 2015. 

Another one?! Aaron just won BEST ORIGINAL SCORE for director Victor Wei Lu's animation "Run Crabs Run" at the Asians on Film Festival. This is his second Best Original Score award for 2015.

"A Mighty Nice Man" has been selected to premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC. This black and white short features music composed and orchestrated by Aaron Kenny, and was produced with the assistance of the ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop.

Aaron has just received BEST ORIGINAL SCORE at the Tisch48 Film Awards last night! Congratulations on director Brian Blum and the whole cast and crew for also winning Best Ensemble and Audience Choice Award for the short film Musical "Hand Model: The Musical".

Aaron was selected and invited to present at the inaugural SCL NY Songwriter/Bookwriter Exchange in collaboration with the Dramatists Guild.
